Dara Happa is a solar-worshiping empire. Its cities include Shargash's demon city of Alkoth, Orlentos, the bird riding Vrimaki's city of Verapur, the City of Chimes, destroyed Elempur and lost Nivorah, among others. When Yelm still lived, he was the chief god worshiped in Dara Happa. Now, the various parts of the empire worship his sons in his place. Past emperors of Dara Happa include Manarlavus, who built the dome over the empire so that his people could stay in place despite the advancing ice, and Lukarius, who shot the Water Sun from the sky.
The Riders and Wheels were once part of this empire, but left it when the golden city of Nivorah was destroyed by ice. Through most of the Storm Age, Dara Happa is covered by a glacier located northwest of the Black Eel Valley.
Dara Happa bans the keeping of dogs, a tradition still upheld by many Wheel and Rider clans.

Throughout the game, you may hear the following rumor:
“ | Wanderers have passed on the story that one of the Dara Happan cities buried under the Glacier had managed to rekindle one of the lesser sun gods, and melted their way out. I very much doubt this is true. | ” |
