Dialogue[]

<Explorer>'s exploration party reaches the largest crater in the valley, where during's Beren's time a piece of the sky fell on a clan. Digging into its floor, they find nuggets of gold, marred by a green tinge. Another group of explorers, from the <Other> clan, hail your party from the lip of the crater. "If you want a large suuply of that gold, we'll give it to you. We have come to bury it where we found it. If you truly want the stuff, it will save us some effort."
  1. Accept.
  2. Accept, if they assure you of its safety.
  3. Decline.
  4. "We'll help you bury it."

Six Ages 2: Lights Going Out

Consequences[]

If you decline, they accept this. When the people hear of the explorer's decision, they may think of it as wise, and the explorer's personal popularity may increase. Your reputation among the other clan is also likely to increase, maybe even making them fear you.

If you say, "We'll help you bury it," they will thank you for the assistance.

Notes[]

The crater in this event is the same as the one that appears after the Skyquake in Ride Like the Wind. If you import a save from Ride Like the Wind, the crater will appear in the same location in Lights Going Out. Otherwise, its location is random inside the valley.

Advice[]

  • "Chaos bubbles up into many places that were first damaged in the Storm Age."
  • "We should pitch in."
  • "They can bury it themselves."
