Cragspider is a Troll entity, either a spider goddess, a demigoddess, or a powerful witch. She is half troll and half spider.
Ride Like the Wind[]
Cragspider is not named in Ride Like the Wind, but if the trolls are your ancestral enemies, she will be obliquely mentioned in the myth Hyalor's Long Ride. If so, she will be the one to give Hyalor his third and final killing wound, as punishment for trying to see her web before it was time.

Cragspider makes her first proper appearance in Lights Going Out. Throughout the game, you may hear the following rumor, likely related to her:
“ | We've heard stories from the distant <Forosilvuli/Infithtelli/upper Oslira tribes> that a great spider with the head of a flame-wreathed troll had <gained vengeance against a mountain/plundered Ernalda's long lost storehouse> at the head of a troll war band. Luckily this happened far away. | ” |
