Dialogue[]
“ | For a while now you’ve been hearing groans from the sky above. Now you see their source—a crack has appeared in the very heavens above! This is no mere local phenomenon. Everyone in the valley, and no doubt beyond, can see this. Fear grips the people.

Consequences[]
This event presages disaster too large for you to avert. At the start of the event, Mood drops.
A sacrifice (alone or with the other clans) can raise Mood. Failing to urge clans to sacrifice together will mean you lose respect among the other clans and Mood drops instead.
Urging the people to be brave is difficult.
Notes[]
This event is foreshadowed by some of your nobles:
“ | A few keen-eared herders have heard creaking sounds, or sone say moaning, from the sky. It is not thunder, they say. I have not heard it myself. | ” |
“ | A most ominous phenomenon perplexes us all. We keep hearing a creaking, or groaning from the sky. It is not just the sound of thunder, but something far more troubling. | ” |
