Consequences[]
If you agree, they will praise you in the customary manner. As agreed, you lose the 20 cows, but instead gain a favor. The people may be happy to see regular diplomacy being conducted even in difficult times, raising Mood. Alternatively, the people may complain that they needed those cows, causing Mood to suffer.
If you send them to a clan that owes you a favor, select which one from a list of the applicable. The requesting clan may receive what they wanted from our friends, thus establishing bonds between the three clans. The people may not care about such matters.
If you express We wish we could help, the clan making the request might not take offense, but your clan's reputation may suffer.
Notes[]
The illustration used depends on the culture of the clan that asks for the cows.
If the clan asking for cows is the Pure Horse Clan, the following will be added to the end of the event text:
“ | The Pure Horse Clan emissary makes it sound like they are doing you a favor by requesting cows, not horses. | ” |
