“ | Chaos can take many forms. Temptation, corruption, greed, and rebellion. They're all bad. | ” |
— Six Ages: Ride Like the Wind |
The dreadful forces of Chaos are inimical to human life, and a great threat to all who live on Glorantha.
Ride Like the Wind[]
You can also choose Chaos as your ancestral enemy in clan creation.
Unlike other potential ancestral enemies, it is not possible to have peaceful interactions with the forces of Chaos even if you did not choose them as your enemies. However, doing so will increase the frequency of Chaos attacks on your land, though you will be better at fighting them off and will gain magic for doing so.
If Chaos is your ancestral foe, your ancestors will have primarily fought scorpion folk and their queens. One such queen, Bakoka, is represented in the night sky by a constellation.
The Scouring Wind spirit can help your clan if you are having trouble with Chaos.
