Buseryan is the solar god of writing. Not all Hyaloring clans preserve his worship.

Ride Like the Wind[]

Your clan will only worship Buseryan if he is the god you chose to take out of Nivorah in clan creation. Also, one of the Famous Events you can choose for your clan history during clan creation is "When Buseryan engraved the first ledger tracking the planets in motion." This increases your leaders' Lore skills, make certain ritual paths easier, and let's you start with Relandar's Advice blessing.

Worship[]

If he is the god you took with you from Nivorah, then you can choose to build a shrine to Buseryan. The treasure the Gazzam Ledger allows you to sustain a shrine to Buseryan with fewer worshippers.

His blessings include:

  • Divination: Can reveal threats or whether or not treasures still exist on your lands.
Note: This blessing can only be obtained through sacrifice.
  • Recording: Documents dealings with other clans, avoiding inadvertent violations of treaties and bargain.

On the Circle[]

You cannot have a worshipper of Buseryan on the clan circle, even if you chose him in clan creation.

Lore[]

Some of the things your clan circle can say about him are:

  • "In the Golden City scribes of Buseryan Sky Watcher kept note of our debts."
  • "I received an extraordinarily clear vision of Buseryan pointing to the stars, and warning me personally that the Storm God was coming to slay Emperor Yelm. We might have had to leave our scrolls and statues of Buseryan in Nivorah, but his predictions are always reliable. However, Orlanth murdered Yelm thousands of years ago. I don't think the gods have the same sense of time we do."
  • "In Nivorah, Buseryan's priests could read in the ledgers who owed what to who."
  • "Buseryan the Scribe sat at Yelm's elbow, writing down his decrees."

Lights Going Out[]

If your clan worshiped him as Riders, then it will continue to do so as members of the Berenethtelli Ram tribe up to about the time of the Great Darkness, when stars became no longer normally visible from the earth. This will be mentioned during the prologue if you import a Ride Like the Wind save wherein you worshiped Buseryan into Lights Going Out.

If, during clan creation, you chose assisting Buseryan as your clan's Famous Event, then your ancestors' Famous Event blessing in Lights Going Out will cause your leaders' Lore skill to level up faster.

His name is spelled differently in the game to prevent confusion with Busenari.
