Dialogue[]
“ | A pall descends over Berenstead as the spirit Big Hunger appears in your wildlands. It wears the form of a gigantic, emblematic wolf. "Who will stop me from eating this place?" it howls. Hanth confronts it, fighting with ruthless efficiency. After a fierce fight he bests it, sending it yelping away. "Two down, one to go," he says. Your hunting and foraging <improves/advantage continues>.

Consequences[]
At start of event, Mood goes up.
If you seek spirit combat training from the shamans of another clan, you must decide who to send, the size of their retinue, and any potential gift. Success will see them send their most powerful shamans as well as an honor guard. Hanth is likely to prove a fast learner, and the shamans will proclaim him to be as ready to face Biggest Hunger as any mortal could be.
If you sacrifice to Dostal, select your sacrifice and whether you wish to do a stronger, riskier rite. An unsuccessful result will have <Hanth/Hanvan> too weary to pray with fervor and unable to hear the Hunt God's voice; mood may fall. If successful, however, Dostal will give you his aid, and Hanth will feel divine glory inside him, strengthening him against Biggest Hunger.
Multiple spirits may pledge themselves to your clan for having a hero who could beat Big Hunger.
Notes[]
This event can also happen with Hanth's son, Hanvan.
If it happens late enough, an alternate illustration may be used.
