Dialogue[]
“ | Clan warriors on patrol duty report a fell development. Berenstead's outer walls, a <bulwark against foes/shield against enemies> since the <tribe's founding/kingdom's glory days>, have begun to <crack/show early signs of deterioration>, and give off <an almost flowery smell/the smell of rotting fruit>. Workers expert in the ways of stone say they can't name the source of the damage. "<Whatever it is, it's only going to worsen./It's as if the walls themselves have given up and wish to die.>" | ” |

Consequences[]
At start of event, mood falls.
If you call on Elmal, god of shields, a successful sacrifice will have him fill the gaps with liquid metal from his shield that solidifies quickly; mood improves at cost of chosen sacrifice.
If you call on spirits and tax them, spirits enter the walls and restore them. People may say that this wouldn't have happened without Dresta's participation; mood improves at cost of Clan Magic.
