The Balurgans is a people living inside a series of hillfort northeast of the Black Eel Valley. By the time of the Chaos Age, they are a recent addition to the area. They worship Balurga, an earth goddess. Unlike Ernalda, Balurga still lives during the Chaos Age. Balurga can offer her worshipers a fertility blessing to their fields and pastures. However, the remaining earth will know greater fear and hunger than before. The Balurgans practice human sacrifice, offering living humans to their patron goddess. They also worship Balurga's husband and son, Verhil.
