No one is a hero without the gods.

— Ayvtu

Ayvtu is a Rider woman from the Black Eel Valley. Like her childhood friends, Yatakan and Lyafor, she was blessed by Elmal with powers of fire magic from an early age. If allowed to cultivate her abilities, she may become a powerful warrior devoted to Osara. Still, it is her ambition to marry and start a family, but she finds none of the men of her own clan suitable.

Ride Like the Wind[]

Ayvtu is a set character that always appears in a game of Ride Like the Wind. She has an entirely unique portrait set.

As she comes of age, Ayvtu will tell you the following:

As a child I prematurely gained fire magic. Now I am a woman. I will wield my magics and martial powers for the <Player Clan>s for as long as I am with you. But naturally I would like to marry someday.

And between you and me, none of the prospects of this clan suit me. They say I am like Yatakan, but we are too much alike.

Lore[]

If on the clan circle, she may say the following:

  • "I have yet to find a suitable husband but that hasn't sent me sniffing around for Rams."
  • "No one is a hero without the gods."

She first appears as one of the three children who prematurely gain powerful fire magic. If the children survive and retain their powers, her story can go one of two ways.

If you marry her off outside the clan (either in Fire Children: Early Marriage Offer or the generic Marriage Proposal event), her new clan will steadily become closer to yours, becoming a potential ally. You will periodically hear updates from her life—the births of her children, her victories in battle, and the vengeance she takes when her husband is killed by bandits.

If you choose to keep her close to home instead, perhaps in order to keep her on the clan circle, her story will continue in Fire Children: Ayvtu's Secret instead.

Skills & Religion[]

Ayvtu appears as a possible clan circle member at age 17. While her stats vary depending on the playthrough, she is always strong in Magic and to a lesser extent Combat. She always worships Osara.

She also has a unique perspective on the following events, among others:

Lights Going Out[]

It is possible for Ayvtu to appear in Lights Going Out, if you imported a save from Ride Like the Wind and made certain decisions in either the Battle on the Hill of Gold or Elmal Visits events. If you do so, she will have some unique advice to share.
