Dialogue[]

A handful of men in your clan, from various families, have unexpectedly undergone shamanic initiation. Like most Hyaloring clans you use shamans to deal with spirits, but it’s unusual to have so many initiate at once, and to the same spirit. All of their spirit helpers are giant deer, like those your hunters sometimes pursue. The new shamans tell you that they are now members both of the <us> clan and a spirit world clan called the Antler Society. They say this connection will be needed in coming dark times, when gods will abandon humanity.
  1. Leave the council out of it.
  2. Let your unease be quietly known.
  3. Offer them support in conducting a blessing rite.
  4. Condemn this strange worship.
  5. Commend this new worship.

Six Ages: Ride Like the Wind

Consequences[]

If you leave the council out of it, the people may worry about this strange situation, causing Mood to decrease.

The Antlers can bless your hunting if you so choose.

If you condemn this new worship, your people may support you, causing Mood to increase. The Antler Society say you will regret it, though.

Notes[]

This event can make your clan known for its shamans.

Once the Antler Society appears, you will have special options regarding them on most shamanic events.
